The Web offers a dizzying array of options, each with at least 12 experts claiming every option to be THE solution for making your million! Sadly these experts are so focused on their technologies that they miss the big picture. Your customers simply want to answer their 3 questions simply and quickly. You want to sell your products to happy customers, easily and for a profit.
I operate as a Consultant who looks at the big picture of your business and products and helps you to build a sales & marketing process that is appropriate to the customers you want to attract to your products. This usually involves:
- Assessing your existing Web Site and Sales Processes incl. Support
- Looking at your customers and building user profiles (psychographic over demographic)
- Understanding the aims of the business
- Understanding the needs of the people in the business
- Creating a Strategy to sell your products to the right users
Sessions are 2 hours and conducted Face to Face, over a Phone or Skype connection.

What Happens in a Session
In sessions we will discuss some or all of the points above and that may take us into some slightly confronting areas that may even seem off-topic. We will meet with problems and things that are wrong (or you wouldn't have me in right) so that we can identify and solve them. I am able to help you through if you keep thinking and talking. I am not a magician of change but a guide in the process of building your business. Working together we will be able to achieve greater outcomes.
If you have several stake holders (owners, staff, departments, customers) then it can be very beneficial to have them involved from the start. This spreads the information and skills we have in the group. It can also allow us to spot where there are difficulties.
I cannot say in advance how long a process may take but a building a simple Strategy often involves around 3 sessions. A complex strategy can take months and include interviews of staff and customers.
What Happens Next
After a strategy or course of action has been identified the options include:
- I do all the work myself
- I help assemble the team who will do the work
- I write my report and leave
Measuring results is important. If there isn't someone looking at the results then the change will either not happen or could get rather out of hand. Having someone who understands the big picture and the details of the process monitoring will help keep you on-track and able to make adjustments if they become necessary.
